Pork stir-fry, in a cast iron pot


No wok? No problem! Great stir fry can be made in a cast iron pot too! This is an easy way to do a nice Asian flavoured dish.

Quick to prepare and delicious, we all love this recipe, especially for lunch, in the weekend!

Prepare

Pork stir-fry, in a cast iron pot – prepare
  • 1.cut the cabbage in 2cm1in wide slices, like in the image, and put it in the cabbage bowl
  • 3.slice the paprika 2cm1in x 1.50.8in chunks and put it in the bowl
  • 3.cut the mushrooms in quarters and put them in the mushroom bowl
  • 4.put the chopped spring onions in another bowl
  • 5.peel the orange and chop it in chunks about 1.50.8in, put them in bowl together with the 1/2 lime
  • 6.put the oyster sauce in another small bowl
  • 7.slice the pork meat in thin slices, 5mm0.2in thick, about 2-3cm1-1.5in long and wide. Sprinkle the salt over the meat and put it in the meat bowl
  • 8.finely chop the garlic and ginger root and put them over the meat

  • put the pot on the burner and turn the heat to high.
  • add 1tbs coconut oil (or lard)
